When I was looking to build and my parents suggested I look into modular homes I balked at the idea. The thought of building something that was like my grandfather's double-wide did not appeal to me. However, the thought of the possible length, and unknown variables/costs of stick built didn't appeal to me either. I hesitatingly started to explore modular homes as a possibility. In the process, I discovered another family that had built their home with Steve's company. They couldn't praise Steve and the process enough. After seeing their home, and meeting Steve, I decided on building a modular home with Steve Schweitzer from The Builder Development Corp. Steve was extremely personable throughout the whole process. I want to thank you for doing excellent job building our new house in Summer 2011. We are very happy
that we can customize the home layout. Putting a sliding door to the second floor deck from master
bedroom is really awesome ! All the upgrade that you say you will do, such as Maple Cabinet and
Granite Kitchen Counter, automatic garage door install, wiring in attic for Radon pump, are all
completed as promised.
You have been very accommodating with the schedule. We were hit with the Halloween snow storm
which caused delay but you push the work so we could finish on time.
We are also very happy with your post follow up. For some contractor, it is hard to get hold of them
once the final check is cleared. But we have no problem getting your people to come back up to fix a
tight fitting pipe and fix a couple minor cracks on the sheet rock.
